Accused of throwing 2 children off roof in Ghaziabad arrested: Police

Ghaziabad: One person in Ghaziabad arrested after throwing two children from the roof of a four-storey building in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh.


He said the incident occurred in the morning when the two brothers, identified as Tribhuvan (9) and Prabhuvan (8), were flying kites from the roof of the building on Guldhar Road in Kavi Nagar area.


Police said the children were seriously injured and were admitted to a nearby hospital.

The boys told police that a Harendra, who lives in the ground floor of the building, allegedly threw them off the roof in Ghaziabad arrested.

An FIR has been registered against Harendra under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code and he has been arrested, SP (City) Manish Mishra told PTI.
